The Centre for Innovation in Advanced Measurement in Manufacturing (CIAMM) project, located at the University of Birmingham, draws upon the expertise and technical prowess from our experienced and knowledgeable academic community. Today, it is my pleasure to introduce you to our two Knowledge Exchange Fellows who can help you solve current challenges or provide research/investigations to support your innovation aspirations. 

Dr Qiushuo Sun sits within our Quantum Clocks Group and has extensive knowledge of:

- Aligning and operating external cavity diode lasers

- Optical cavity and laser locking

- Optical simulation

- Spectroscopic techniques for material characterisation and in vivo measurements of human skin.

Dr Archie Kubba is part of our Atom Interferometry Group, with extensive experience in:

- Magnetic shield design and testing

- Gravimeter and Gradiometer designs and working

  principles

- Long mechanical and electrical engineering

- Sensors and transducers design and applications.
